Where Virtue Rises presented at the Niche Artefact themed Exhibition, Nottingham - 30th August 2026
▪️Canvas board size - 100 x 100 cm
▪️Mixed Media plus rose prickles (thorns).
In the stillness of divine humility, Christ’s face emerges from the void; pure white and untouched by shadow. His gaze falls gently, not in judgment, but in compassion. The clay carries the quiet wounds of His final hours, the softened marks of suffering, the tenderness of His last breath (my own interpretation of what He may have looked like in those closing moments). He is the axis of light, the eternal calm at the heart of creation.
From His presence radiate seven colourful orbs representing the seven heavenly virtues, each a fragment of divine essence, scattered like stars across the blackness of human struggle. Each orb glows with its own frequency of grace:
Humility
Kindness
Patience
Charity
Chastity
Diligence
Temperance
Yet all are bound by the same golden current that flows from Christ above… separate yet one, distinct yet united in purpose.
The black background is not emptiness but the womb of creation, the silence from which light is born. Against it, the virtues shine as reminders that even in darkness, divine order persists.
Christ’s light does not command; it invites. The virtues below do not orbit Him in obedience, but in harmony; each one a testament to the possibility of transcendence through moral beauty..
This piece is not about perfection.
It is about aspiration and the eternal reaching of humanity toward something higher, softer, and more luminous.
A reminder that virtue doesn’t shout…
It glows from below…
And with gratitude, I honour the @nicheartefact founder Robin for presenting my piece so serenely, and the Niche performers who delivered a spectacular show as always; artists who have worked tirelessly since the last show to create something truly extraordinary. Their dedication breathes life into every moment.

Alice in PIECES presented at the Niche Artefact themed Exhibition, Nottingham - 7th June 2026
▪️Canvas board size - 100 x 100 cm
▪️Media - Acrylic paint, modelling paste and oil pastels.
In this piece, Alice sits at the centre of a fractured dream, surrounded by the familiar figures of Wonderland, each splintered into shifting planes of colour and thought. The White Rabbit clutches his watch as time bends around him; the Cheshire Cat’s grin floats like a secret between worlds; the Mad Hatter’s teacup tilts at impossible angles.
The composition moves through geometric fragments and layered perspectives, echoing the emotional language of Cubism, not imitation, but transformation. Each shape feels like a thought caught mid‑motion, each colour a whisper of memory.
The neutral space between them holds the silence of curiosity; a pause before the next impossible moment. In that stillness, the viewer is invited to wander through the puzzle of perception, to find meaning in the fractured harmony, and to glimpse the strange clarity that lives between imagination and reality.

DIGITAL REALMS meets SPIRITUAL AWAKENING presented at the Niche Artefact themed Exhibition, Nottingham - 22nd March 2026
▪️Canvas board size - 100 x 100 cm
▪️Media - Acrylic paint, modelling paste and gold leaf
In this piece, the digital world collides with the spiritual plane; a portal where Shiva’s third eye opens into an explosion of colour, blue hues, and electric textures. It’s a visual meditation on channeling the subconscious, dissolving boundaries, and stepping into the realms we feel but rarely see. A reminder that the inner world is just as vast, coded, and cosmic as any digital universe we create.
This artwork is an invitation to look within, to recognise that the third eye is not just a symbol of divine sight, but a mirror reflecting the beauty, strength, and purity already inside us.
In a world that often tries to harden us, this piece becomes a gentle reminder to hold onto your softness, your goodness, and your inner truth; that unvarnished light that makes you who you are. It speaks to anyone searching for their identity or feeling low in spirit, offering a moment of reassurance that you are enough, you are worthy, and you belong.
Your light doesn’t need permission to shine; it simply needs to be remembered.

RETROSPECTIVE - EROTICA presented at the Niche Artefact themed Exhibition, Nottingham -
11th September 2025
▪️Canvas board sizes - Two pieces 100 x 50 cm
▪️Media - Acrylic paint
This piece was inspired by my second exhibition work, to reveal a bolder, more abstract side of the original. It carries the essence of another love story, one that unfolds not through words but through the rhythm of paint and canvas.
Each brush stroke is an act of intimacy, a gesture of connection, and together they weave a narrative of passion and tenderness. In this way, the artwork becomes a dialogue of love making… one brush stroke at a time, where emotion and creativity merge into a single, expressive moment.

A Midnight Odyssey - Journey of the unconscious mind, Nocturna Themed Exhibition presented at the Niche Artefact Exhibition, Nottingham -
26th June 2025
▪️Canvas board size - 100 x 150 cm
▪️Media - Acrylic and oil paint, oil pastels and felt tip pen.
Inspiration - This piece was inspired by a very famous New York artist called Jean-Michel Basquiat @basquiatofficial whom I learned about during my recent trip there, visiting various galleries in SoHo and seeing some of his famous works.
His art style is primarily categorised as Neo-expressionism, characterised by its raw, energetic, and emotionally charged approach. He also incorporated elements of graffiti, street art, and primitivism into his distinctive style. His work is known for its bold colors, expressive brushwork, symbolic imagery, and inclusion of text and symbols.
I hope that I have captured his signature style well for this piece and as an homage to a truly talented artist who sadly passed away at the tender age of 27.
This is a journey of one’s thoughts, experiences and views manifesting in the unconscious mind …a midnight odyssey.. snippets of my life story.

Secrets at Sunset presented at the Niche Artefact themed Exhibition, Nottingham -
30th April 2025
▪️Canvas board size - 80 x 60 cm
▪️Media - Modelling paste and acrylic paint
This is the love story of the famous Mexican singer and the English Gentleman.
Persecuted and banished in Mexico, the songbird supreme had to endure the rough seas; finally reaching England.
Entering a Molly House there stood the handsome librarian.
After various visits, an indescribable passion grew culminating into an all-encompassing, unconditional feeling of love.
Wanting more…
risking death…
eye to eye….
under the sunset…
They continued their secret…
Inspiration - This piece was inspired by our beautiful couple Ro and David. I empathise with what many have endured and the journey its taken just to be free and to love.
Behind most of my pieces there is a story that must never be forgotten.
…where love is concerned, nothing and nobody can contain it… truly, it has to flourish in the light…

The Last Ghost Dance presented at the Niche Artefact themed Exhibition, Nottingham -
15th November 2024
▪️Canvas board size - 100 x 100 cm
▪️Media - Modelling paste, pencil, acrylic paint, oil pastels and gold leaf
SOLD AT AUCTION 23.11.24
The ‘Ghost Dance’ was a late-nineteenth-century American Indian spiritual movement.
The religion took many forms, but its principal ideas were that the spirits of the dead would be raised, the buffalo would return, and European settlers would be driven away.
A dance was the central focus of the ritual - a circle dance during which dancers experienced mystical visions of the dead and the new world to come.
After the massacre at Wounded Knee, the ghost dance movement was essentially broken. While some scattered resistance to white rule arose in the following decades, the battles between Native Americans and whites in the West had ended.
This piece depicts the final ghost dance - the end of one’s spritual journey and way of life which they held so dear....
The war paint was worn to signify and activate one’s spiritual power, to reveal their identity and for protection.
Chanting for the last time...
‘Father, I come;
Mother, I come;
Brother, I come;
Father, give us back our arrows.’

A Rajasthani Love Story presented at the Niche Artefact themed Exhibition, Nottingham -
27th March 2024
▪️Canvas board size - 24 x 20 inches
▪️Media - Modelling paste, pencil, acrylic paint, oil pastels and gold leaf
This piece was inspired by the Rajasthan style of paintings which is a traditional art form of India that came into existence and developed in the imperial court of Rajputana in northern India, around the 17th and 18th centuries. They are characterised by bold lines, intricate detailing, fine brush strokes, and vivid, eye-catching colours. These works are adorned all over the world.
Set in a secluded area of a Rajasthan palace, India, this piece depicts the fictional love story of Kalyan and Gauri.
Despite their parents’ objection to their relationship, (largely due to India’s caste system), these star-crossed lovers meet whenever they can to declare their love for each other.
When they do meet… they become one… through the art of the Kama Sutra…
The Kama Sutra was written in ancient Sanskrit in India, between 400 BCE–200 CE. In Sanskrit, sutra literally means “thread” but also refers to a “text.” Kama means “desire, pleasure, love, or sex” and is the name of the god of erotic love. Together, Kama Sutra translates to “Teachings on Desire.”
The author of the Kama Sutra, describes female qualities as ‘grace, delicacy, timidity, innocence, frailty, and bashfulness.’ A man’s qualities as ‘rough and ferocious.’

GODDESS ISIS presented at the Niche Artefact themed Exhibition, Nottingham -
31st January 2024
▪️Canvas size - 91 x 61 cm
▪️Media - Modelling paste, Acrylic paint and gold leaf/spray on canvas
Isis, revered as the Egyptian goddess of love, healing, fertility, magic, and the moon, held immense significance in ancient Egyptian religious beliefs.
Isis was also the perfect traditional Egyptian wife and mother - content to stay in the background while things went well, but able to use her wits to guard her husband and son should the need arise. The shelter she afforded her child gave her the character of a goddess of protection. But her chief aspect was that of a great magician, whose power transcended that of all other deities.
The gold colour for this piece was primarily used to evoke those attributes and to capture her protective, healing, loving, and compassionate qualities. Gold was also an alluring metal used by the ancient Egyptians to decorate the tombs of pharaohs.
The vision for this piece was to make Goddess Isis centre stage, using various mediums to make the statue appear dated and as though she is majestically appearing through the canvas…commanding presence with her illuminated wings.
The addition of hieroglyphics was to add to the mystique of Egyptian culture and art and represent the handwriting of the day.
